Last week, there was this Carnival Science in Tun hussien onn. Me and my other three friends, Qiao Wen, Hui Yien and Wee Nee, were chosen to take part in one of the event, the Eureka competition. We know nothing anything about what the question was and what we were going to do. When the question paper was given to each school, as I read the question, we were shocked.
Question- creates a clock model with the time of 5 second and a “landasan” for the marble to roll down till the end within 5 second by using the materials given. Do a scrap book to describe the model.

Materials- a box, a kosong mineral bottle, cellophane tape, ruler, cloth, marble, straws, knives, A4 colour and plain paper, staple, marker pens, scissors and sugar.

Time- 1 hour and 45 minutes to finish the model and the scrap book.

Haha… so, we just do loh... at first, when we were discussing on how to do, we thought it will be very easy, but…. Hehe… was not as easy as we think especially when the time is so limited… so, me and wee nee did the landasan and hui yien and qiao wen did the clock model. At about before 30 minutes to end, we try to roll the marble down the landasan, and guess what, the marble roll OUT the landasan. And when it reached the end, it took only 2-3 second. We started to panicked and the scrap book haven finished yet. So we change our duty and plan. Me and Qiao wen did the scrap book and hui yien and wee nee (who both were very good good and creative) did the landasan.
And the teacher said it was time up, luckily we managed to change everything in time. Hehe… but the marble kept rolling out of the landasan and it was faster than 5 second. Then, wee nee told me that sure die lah…
When the judges came, we started to explained and test the model. And guess what… the clock model was exactly 5 second but when test the landasan the marble at first was rolling very well but when coming to the end the marble rolled OUT the landasan. We kept laughing and laughing. Hahaha… so, that the end of the whole competition. My other three friends said that we won’t win lar but I kept telling them that maybe we still got chance, maybe other school lousy than us… haha… but we really didn’t win lar… haha… but still thank God… it was really a great and wonderful experiences… hehe… here are some pictures!! haha...
